Coffee Pirates, Vienna | Anastasia of Bumaga

World, I would like to introduce you to Anastasia Popova of Bumaga. I first discovered her on Instagram through the hashtag #womenofvienna and ever since then I was hooked on her work. I appreciate all things beautiful and graceful and elegant and Anastasia's work is no different. Her calligraphy is the kind that makes angels sing and unicorns jump over pots of gold. Unlike the majority of calligraphy artists I follow on Instagram, Anastasia lived in my neck of the woods, right in the heart of Vienna. And I was fortunate enough to meet her in real life last year at a Christmas Market in Vienna. Since then I've been keeping tabs on her (which sounds way creepier than I mean it to mean). She's a jack-of-all-trades you could say, in that there's nothing she can't do. She volunteers for numerous organizations and is at a variety of events helping and making herself useful. Aside from the fact that there's nothing she can't do, she's also the nicest person I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. Seriously. Her heart is made of gold and the word 'love' is written in calligraphy across it. If you ever have the opportunity of meeting her in person, absolutely do it. You will never regret making her acquaintance. Here is her session.
