Balthasar Coffee Bar, Vienna | Theresa Pewal Portrait Session

I found/discovered/stalked Theresa through social media. She is the only other film portrait photographer that I know of residing in the heart of Vienna. Originally from Carinthia, Austria (which is known for its amazing slopes in the winter and its sparkling lakes in the summer) she relocated to Vienna to study music. While studying, she took up digital photography and then transitioned into film photography and has been doing it ever since; her work is inspiring and evocative. Seriously. She's been featured a number of times on Carmencita's "Best Of" and her Instagram is drool worthy. After grabbing coffee and chatting with her at Balthasar I decided that her work is incredible because she is incredible. She has such a vivacious spirit, a sharp eye for details, and is so easy to get to know. When I met her it was like meeting an old friend that you hadn't seen in a long time. She was just so easy to hang out with and laugh with. I truly enjoyed getting to meet someone else in Vienna who shares the same film photography love and the same zest for life. Here is her session.
