Mia and I met through the Women of Vienna group nearly a year ago, when she was interested in getting into film photography. We met up for coffee and talked about photography and during that coffee chat I got to know a little more about her. She is a Georgian born soul who married her best friend Jesse and relocated to Vienna. She and I both share a mutual love of food (#foodislife) and she is witty as all get out. She is easy-going and loves to laugh (basically my favourite kind of person) annnnnddd she is the boss lady of miaseilern (of which her food section is my favourite, she's got Austrian recipes on there!).Read More
I found/discovered/stalked Theresa through social media. She is the only other film portrait photographer that I know of residing in the heart of Vienna. Originally from Carinthia, Austria (which is known for its amazing slopes in the winter and its sparkling lakes in the summer) she relocated to Vienna to study music. While studying, she took up digital photography and then transitioned into film photography and has been doing it ever since; her work is inspiring and evocative. Seriously. She's been featured a number of times on Carmencita's "Best Of" and her Instagram is drool worthy.Read More

Sasha and Jay just welcomed their newest addition into the family and wanted a quiet newborn family session in their home. Their little one was sleeping when I arrived, but he woke up so that he could grace me with his presence. And what a joyous presence he is! We spent the afternoon cuddling, kissing, and laughing with him. He was so tiny and so brand new that I pretty much had to suppress my squeals whenever I got to hold him; he is one beautiful tiny cherub.Read More
I met Melinda through a blogging group when she launched her website on how to turn a space into a home. I was mesmerized by her website name and even more with her ideas and talent for taking a space and turning it into something beautiful. (Seriously, you must go check out her site and additionally, her ideas). I was even more delighted to meet her in person during her session. I didn't have to work hard at all to get her to smile; she laughed at practically everything I said and was so easy to photograph!Read More
