Aly reached out to me to book a photo session in 2017 and years later she emailed me again to get updated family photos while her parents, her sister, and her kids were visiting Vienna. Repeat clients are such a blessing; repeat clients with big, fun, and beautiful families are just the icing on the cake!
First off, I just want to go on record saying that the sweet personality behind one of the top most highly rated blogs in Vienna, known as American in Vienna has the most beautiful name, Michelle. ;) I got the chance to meet Michelle when I first relocated to Vienna and she has been an endless resource of information, knowledge, and insights on all things Vienna. She is one of the calmest, most gentlest, souls you will ever meet. She also has the patience of a saint, which I must confess, came in handy during her session when I wanted to keep exploring just a little further for the perfect spot for her pictures. Her session began at 5:00 in the morning, and no, there was no typos just now. Five A.M. Bless Michelle's heart.
Mark and Mariana wanted summer photos of their family so we collectively decided to have their session at Donauinsel. It was a rather warm day on the day of their session so we took frequent breaks in the shade or in the water so that no one got overheated. I found that this helped the kids a lot, especially when it came to taking some dips into the cool Danube water. They couldn't resist enjoying themselves once they got in there and I couldn't resist photographing their happiness. When my clients are having fun it makes for a fun session for all parties involved. And that's one of the things I love about this session; they're having fun. Not to mention the lively colors! Just looking at the colors in these shots makes me miss summer! Maybe not the heat though...
They say Paris is the 'City of Love' but I'm pretty certain that Vienna could give it a run for it's money. I've heard stories from so many people telling me how they met in Vienna and the magic of Vienna made them fall in love. And Gabriela and Gerhard's story is no different. They met each other in Vienna and over the course of a few years built a wonderful life together. An integral part of their lives is a tiny little, magical, bubbling, joyful girl named Emma.
