Aly reached out to me to book a photo session in 2017 and years later she emailed me again to get updated family photos while her parents, her sister, and her kids were visiting Vienna. Repeat clients are such a blessing; repeat clients with big, fun, and beautiful families are just the icing on the cake!

Rathaus and Volksgarten in Vienna | Mother and Daughter Portraits

A long time ago, when I first moved to Vienna, the first job I got was as a kindergarten teacher. It was one of my favourite jobs. And every year for their anniversary they plan a trip to a country where they spend time focusing on each other and exploring. It was a rather warm day on the day of their session so we took frequent breaks in the shade or in the water so that no one got overheated. I found that this helped the kids a lot, especially when it came to taking some dips into the cool Danube water. They couldn't resist enjoying themselves once they got in there and I couldn't resist photographing their happiness. When my clients are having fun it makes for a fun session for all parties involved.
And that's one of the things I love about this session; they're having fun. Not to mention the lively colors! Just looking at the colors in these shots makes me miss summer! Maybe not the heat though...
