Aly reached out to me to book a photo session in 2017 and years later she emailed me again to get updated family photos while her parents, her sister, and her kids were visiting Vienna. Repeat clients are such a blessing; repeat clients with big, fun, and beautiful families are just the icing on the cake!

Naturally, he couldn't leave behind his beautiful wife and his adorable little girl, so he scooped up the two most important ladies in his life and moved to the City of Music. They had been living here for a few months when we had their autumn session in the heart of Burggarten. When I first laid eyes on this little family of three it was like watching one of those families you see in those advertisements walk off the page of a magazine. They're adorable, down-to-earth, fun-loving, easy to talk to, and better yet, fun to joke around with. Pretty much all my favourite things.

Fiona and Adam are so lively and cheerful and I just want to bottle their energy up and keep it for myself. For their spring session we went to Volksgarten because it's the perfect backdrop for a spring session. Every time I return there's more and more roses.
Read MoreDespite it being spring, it was a rather overcast, blustery, and chilly day for being the time of year when everything was supposed to be warming up. Nonetheless the roses were out in full display; I suspect they knew I was intending to use them as backdrops throughout the Laufert's portrait session (kudos to you roses, you performed beautifully).

Chelsea was going to India on a business trip and wasn't able to photograph this amazing family of fifteen so she referred them to me. Usually I approach most large family portraits with a bit of apprehension. You have to make sure everyone is strategically placed and staggered correctly. Then you have to make sure everyone is looking at your camera. Then you have to make sure everyone is smiling and not blinking. And when you have to do that all at the same time for a bunch of people it can be a little overwhelming. But this family was the dream team.
