Innere Stadt, Vienna | Kadlicko Portrait Session

Life has been busy for me the past year.
Between starting a new job, moving into a new flat, and doing some volunteer work, I feel like it’s just been a hazy 2019 to 2020 year. Consequently, some things have suffered, obviously, my blog was one of those things I grossly neglected. But now that I’m huddled up in my new flat (which is still undergoing some construction) I have lots of time to devote to updating my blog and actually my entire website. So you may see some welcome changes in the coming weeks.
Anyway, enough of that. Let me show off Steph’s portrait session. She reached out to me via Instagram and wanted to see if I was interested in doing a photo swap session (photos of me for photos of her). Her photography work is incredible and my LinkedIn photo was not, so it was an immediate yes from me. We met up in the 1st district of Vienna, the heart of Vienna, and wandered the city. I’m pretty awkward in general but even more so when I’m faced with another talented photographer; I become all elbows and end every sentence with a preposition. But Steph is a sweet and gracious person (with an excellent sense of humor), and after 45 minutes with her, I felt like we were best friends.
It was really an enjoyable session for me. We both gave each other creative license to photograph how we wanted and what we wanted. Those kinds of sessions are always a breath of fresh creative air for me; nothing is off-limits, which meant double exposures were on the table (yaaasss)! Her whole session gives me lazy, easy-like-a-Sunday-morning vibes which is appropriate considering that I’m sharing this with you on a Sunday.
Here is Steph’s relaxed, breezy, charming morning photo session in the heart of Vienna. Enjoy!
