Joshua and Réka reached out to me while they were planning a very simple and quiet morning wedding ceremony at one of Vienna's Standesamt (aka courthouses). They wanted to capture a few pictures of themselves before they went to the Standesamt and had their civil ceremony. I was more than happy to oblige, of course. (I love courthouse portrait sessions!) Joshua met Réka while on tour in Europe and ever since then it was love at first sight for the both of them. It was also clear from the start that they both had met their match. Joshua has a cheeky personality and Réka is impeccably calm and sweet. Both her sweetness and his spice are perfectly balanced out in their relationship.
When Ben was heading into work one day he looked up and saw “the most beautiful woman” across the way in the same u-bahn he was riding in. He saw her get off the same stop and head into the same place he worked at and after that, he made it his mission to get introduced to this woman. After many attempts he was able to work his way into her good graces and woo her into dating him. A few years later and they were wed in an intimate and simple ceremony in Vienna.
I know it's been forever since I've blogged and shared some of the amazing people and moments I've had the pleasure of photographing, and for that, please accept my sincerest apologies. Life has sabotaged all my valiant efforts of staying on top of my work and consequently, I am more than a little behind in sharing all the life and color I've captured. But nevertheless, I am determined to catch up and share all the special moments I've watched my clients experience and show them off here on this tiny space of the internet which I lay claim to.
Kelly and Georg met on the beaches of South America where they both happened to be invited to the same party one night. After being introduced to each other and talking till nearly dawn, they spent the rest of the summer soaking up Peru's sun and each other's company. When Georg decided it was time to go back to Vienna, he also decided he couldn't go without Kelly. So he took the love of his life with him and they got married in a castle in Vienna.
Connie, who recently published her first book "LAlien: From the Austrian Alps to the Hollywood Hills" and Danny, who is in pre-sales at an IT company, met at a singles party and from that first meeting it was clear they'd met their match. They both love to travel and after surviving all the ups and downs that comes with traveling the world, Danny decided to ask Connie to marry him.
