Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna | Blogger Fall Portraits

Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna | Blogger Fall Portraits

Lydia needed some brand spankin’ new photos for her blog and I was more than happy to oblige. There’s a special place in my heart for creatives and artists in Vienna. The more artists, writers, painters, and creatives I meet in Vienna, the more I realize they pour their hearts and souls into their work and sometimes it’s incredibly hard to step out from behind it and show the world who you are. Mostly because they’re up to their eyeballs in work and also because they’re so passionate about it, it’s hard to step away. Vienna, Austria | Melinda of NativeFingerprint

I met Melinda through a blogging group when she launched her website on how to turn a space into a home. I was mesmerized by her website name and even more with her ideas and talent for taking a space and turning it into something beautiful. Vienna, Austria | Carly Hulls' Blogger Portraits

Carly, the voice and travel fiend behind Austrian Adaptation, contacted me because she wanted updated portraits of her in Vienna for her blog and for some projects she was working on. I practically squealed when I got her email. She was one of a few of blogs that I dutifully read before I myself left Florida to relocate to Vienna. She is an established blogger in Vienna with a knack for writing stories and posts in such a way that you feel like you're right there with her or you feel like she's given you privileged insider's tips on the latest and greatest brunch spots or how to master German. Seriously. This woman is like the guru of surviving as an expat in Vienna. I pretty much equate her to the wise old tree in the Disney movie Pocahontas....only she's not old....and she's not a tree....but she's full of sage advice. You get where I'm going...
