World, I would like to introduce you to Anastasia Popova of Bumaga. I first discovered her on Instagram through the hashtag #womenofvienna and ever since then I was hooked on her work. I appreciate all things beautiful and graceful and elegant and Anastasia's work is no different. Her calligraphy is the kind that makes angels sing and unicorns jump over pots of gold. Unlike the majority of calligraphy artists I follow on Instagram, Anastasia lived in my neck of the woods, right in the heart of Vienna. And I was fortunate enough to meet her in real life last year at a Christmas Market in Vienna.

Vienna, Austria | Coffee and Head Shots with Aneta of Hey Ho

Coffee and head shots; I couldn't think of a better title for this other than that, because that's exactly what this hangout session was all about. Makes you think the beginning of my coffee date with Aneta of Hey Ho turned deadly, but I assure you it did not. She was looking for someone to take some updated shots of herself on her camera and I heartily offered to take a few of them with her camera (what can I say, I like pressing shutter buttons on cameras; it's so exciting) . The day of her session at Das Mobel I still had some film in my camera that I wanted to use so I used the remaining film on her gorgeous face. I am very pleased with the outcome of them, but I enjoyed even more her company.

Between finding a place to call home and then moving into said place and then all the things that came along with it to do, I had neglected my camera for far longer than I had intended. So I posted in a Facebook group that I've gotten quite fond of and have been pretty active in, saying that I was looking to let my camera see the light of day and that I wondered if anyone would allow me to take their picture for 30 minutes. Kam Kibash was the first person to respond. 
Kam was from Kazakhstan and lived there till she met her now husband and moved to Vienna. She is incredibly talented.
