I just adore this family. My cheeks always hurt when I walk away from their session because I've been laughing so much. Fiona and Adam are so lively and cheerful and I just want to bottle their energy up and keep it for myself. For their spring session we went to Volksgarten because it's the perfect backdrop for a spring session. Every time I return there's more and more roses.

Nonetheless the roses were out in full display; I suspect they knew I was intending to use them as backdrops throughout the Laufert's portrait session (kudos to you roses, you performed beautifully).
Read MoreIt started out as a coffee date with my good friend Carolyn at Cafe Latte Art (we're both addicted to this place) in which I just happened to bring my camera along to. But knowing I had a camera with a whole roll of film in it was burning a hole in my pocket/camera/brain. So I coerced my friend Carolyn to let me just take a few pictures of her at a park next to Schottentor. The results are my favourite pictures of her ever.

If you ever doubt that love exists, just take a peek at a few of these images and your faith will be restored. Connie (who is an author, check out her highly rated book on Amazon here) and Danny contacted me for their engagement session and their wedding (June 11th! whoop whoop!) I could not have been more excited for their session because one, I love photographing two individuals who are madly in love, and two, they got style (just scroll down to the last image for absolute verification of this, seriously, they look like models). Plus the day of their scheduled engagement session was absolutely divine and it was at the incomparable Türkenschanzpark, which is one of Vienna's most beautiful parks.
I was in desperate need of a couple for a television show and Lauren and Mateusz contacted me immediately and said they were willing to be that couple. So we ran around Schloß Schönbrunn and got a few pictures of them just soaking up each other's presence. It took a minute or so to get comfortable being filmed during our shoot but after a while we didn't even notice them. I found out that they both met at a lake and it was love at first sight. It was also pretty evident that they were smitten with each other, which makes my job so much easier. Photographing people when they're around people they love is the best job ever. I could do it all day.
