First off, I just want to go on record saying that the sweet personality behind one of the top most highly rated blogs in Vienna, known as American in Vienna has the most beautiful name, Michelle. ;) I got the chance to meet Michelle when I first relocated to Vienna and she has been an endless resource of information, knowledge, and insights on all things Vienna. She is one of the calmest, most gentlest, souls you will ever meet. She also has the patience of a saint, which I must confess, came in handy during her session when I wanted to keep exploring just a little further for the perfect spot for her pictures. Her session began at 5:00 in the morning, and no, there was no typos just now. Five A.M. Bless Michelle's heart.

Originally from Carinthia, Austria (which is known for its amazing slopes in the winter and its sparkling lakes in the summer) she relocated to Vienna to study music. While studying, she took up digital photography and then transitioned into film photography and has been doing it ever since; her work is inspiring and evocative. Seriously. She's been featured a number of times on Carmencita's "Best Of" and her Instagram is drool worthy.

Their little one was sleeping when I arrived, but he woke up so that he could grace me with his presence. And what a joyous presence he is! We spent the afternoon cuddling, kissing, and laughing with him. He was so tiny and so brand new that I pretty much had to suppress my squeals whenever I got to hold him; he is one beautiful tiny cherub.
